In the Indian Premier League to be held in 2020, Australia’s ODI captain Captain Aaron Finch will be seen playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the auction on Thursday, RCB bought him for 4.40 crores. With this, Finch became the first player in the history of IPL to play for 8 different franchises.

Australian opener Finch started his IPL career in 2010 playing for Rajasthan Royals. After this, he remained in the Delhi Daredevils team for the next two seasons. In the auction that followed, he was bought by the Pune Warriors team. At the same time, in IPL 2014, he took the field from Sunrisers Hyderabad and in 2015 from Mumbai Indians.

The next year in 2016, Aaron Finch was in the team of Gujarat Lions. After being out of Gujarat from the IPL, he did not remain in any team in the next season of the league. In the 2018 auction, he was bought by Kings XI Punjab.

Apart from Finch, there has been no player who has been a part of more than 6 IPL teams. Yuvraj Singh and Parthiv Patel have been part of 6 teams of IPL.

At the same time, RCB’s batting line-up has become even stronger with the arrival of Finch. This team already has explosive batsmen like Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.
