Indian Corona Vaccine: Final trial of indigenous vaccine to be completed in two months, know how much will cost
The final trial of most of the Coronavirus Vaccine of Corona virus will be completed in the next two months, which will be much cheaper. The Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that the indigenous vaccine trial of Kovid-19 is expected to be completed in the next one to two months. The Health Minister said this during a web conference.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Bharat Biotech have started the third phase trial of covaxin (COVAXIN) this month, with 26,000 people participating. It is being told that this is the most advanced Indian experimental vaccine. Harshvardhan said, ‘We are in the final stages of the process of developing our indigenous vaccine. We are in the process of completing the Phase III trial in the next one or two months. Harsh Vardhan also reiterated that the government plans to have 20 to 25 crore Indians vaccinated by July.
It is being told that the indigenous vaccine of Corona vaccine may cost around Rs 100. However, there is no official confirmation of this yet. It is believed that indigenous vaccine of Corona will be available in India by March-April.
Corona Warriors to be given first vaccine
Recently the Health Minister had said that we are working fast in the field of vaccine. India is second to none in the world in making vaccines. The vaccine will be available to people in India by early 2021 next year. He also stated that when the corona vaccine is ready, priority will be given to health workers and the elderly (people above 65 years of age). Vaccine will then be given to those aged 50–65 years.
