India vs New Zealand: Kohli says after victory, Team India played well under pressure

India vs New Zealand: India defeated New Zealand by 7 runs in the last match of the five-match T20 series played at Mount Maunganui. With this, India cleared New Zealand 5-0.

Buoyed by the 5–0 win in the five-match T20 series against New Zealand, Indian team captain Virat Kohli has said that his team always tries to find a way to win and in this order, New Zealand got 5- A win of 0 is a great comfort.

Kohli said after the match, ‘Every one of us are feeling proud about the victory in this series. I think we have always emphasized that we have to strive for victory in the end. It feels good when this happens. After winning the first four matches, Kohli decided to rest himself and the team was led by Rohit Sharma.

India won the toss and scored 163 runs for three wickets, thanks to Rohit’s half-century, and then the bowlers played a big role in defeating New Zealand by seven runs. Rohit got injured during batting and could not come for fielding. Lokesh Rahul captained in his absence.

Kohli said, ‘What happened to Rohit, you would not like to see this at all, but the amazing thing is that despite his absence, our teammates proved themselves under pressure and won for the team. I was very happy to see that my team can withstand the pressure without me and Rohit and this sequence will last for many years to come, I am sure. Now the series of three ODIs will be played between the two teams, which will start on Wednesday.
