India has termed Malaysia Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad’s statement as factually incorrect in which he has commented that laws like CAA are being introduced to deprive citizenship of some Muslims in India. The Ministry of External Affairs on Friday objected to the statement made by Mahatik Mohammed that such statements are factually incorrect. The Ministry of External Affairs also said that Malaysia should refrain from commenting on India’s internal development (case), especially without a proper understanding of the facts.
