Brewing material (for 2 people) Basil leaves – 3 to 4 (Basil is rich in antiviral and antibacterial properties.)
Clove – 2 (Comfortable in analgesic and respiratory diseases.)
Pepper-2 (Antioxidant Rich and helpful in
curing cold and cough.) Cinnamon Powder- 1 pinch (Controls blood sugar level and helps in good sleep.)
Ginger- 1 small piece (Cold-cough and Sh. Aids in habitat diseases and a better antioxidant.)

Method of making the decoction
– Grind all the spices mentioned above in a ginger-encasing pot and make them into a paste.
– Keep 2 cups of water on the gas until it boils well. Add jaggery according to taste. (
Mix jaggery or not your desire) – Add the prepared spices paste in boiling water and cook on low flame for 1 minute. Then filter and enjoy it like tea.

Some things to keep in mind
– do not use too much spices, use only as much as the quantity mentioned.
Sugar can also be used in small quantities instead of jaggery and honey for sweet.
-If there is no cinnamon, it can also be made based on the other four spices.
– Do not boil spices in boiling water for a long time or else it will become bitter.
