Human trials of country’s first corona vaccine to be done before August 15, preparation from Fast Track mode

India is trying to make its own vaccine against the corona virus epidemic. Meanwhile, there is a relief news for the people of India. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has written a letter to Bharat Biotech asking it to run human trials on Fasc Track mode. ICMR has written a letter to India’s leading vaccine manufacturer Bharat Biotech, which has developed an effective vaccine ‘Kovaxin’ (COVAXIN) on Corona, to complete the human testing process of COVID19 vaccine using the Fasc Track method.

ICMR DG Balaram Bhargava has written a letter to the principal investigators of Bharat Biotech and Medical Colleges to expedite the testing process of the indigenous corona vaccine. This paper states that the process of human testing should be completed before August 15 so that clinical trial results can be launched on August 15.

It is worth noting that recently, Bharat Biotech, India’s leading vaccine manufacturer, announced that it has made an effective vaccine Kovaxin ((COVAXIN) against Corona. The second phase has also been approved. Bharat Biotech said in its official statement that it has prepared it in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Institute of Virology (NIV).
