Himachal: Woman kidnapped her own children with the help of Facebook friend

Facebook Friend: In Tanehar Panchayat of Dharampur light in Mandi district of Himachal, three people from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh kidnapped two children along with their mother at midnight. The mother left her two children seven months ago due to a love affair and left home. The four accused reached Tanehar in the car. The woman’s husband Anil Kumar slept in the room with both children. He works with a liquor businessman. Late at half past one, the woman knocked on the door of the room. As soon as Anil Kumar opened the door, the three men who came with the woman sitting in the darkness attacked him. Hearing the sound of Anil’s shouting, the mother also came out of her room. The accused also beat him up.

Throwing chili powder in the eyes of Anil and his mother took the two children away from the room. When the villagers came to know about this, they also gathered. He informed the police station Dharampur and nearby villages about kidnapping the children. The police sent their teams around, alerted Sandhol police outpost and police station Sarkaghat. The villagers also set up blocks. When the accused children reached the Dharmpur-Marhi road, the villagers sitting there already caught them and grabbed them. The villagers beat the four fiercely. In a short time the police team also reached and took the accused to the police station.

Rajni, a resident of Tikkari in Bilaspur, was married to Anil in 2009. At the same time, Rajni had befriended the three accused on Facebook. She then fled from home to Pune seven months ago. At the same time, the accused Vineet Kumar Atri Malav is a resident of Tehsil Khair. She is serving in the Army as a Nursing Assistant in AMC. The two other accused, Lokesh Kumar and Ankit Kumar, are residents of Khair (Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh). The four have been arrested on charges of kidnapping, assault, entering a house and conspiracy.
