Iran has rejected the appeal to leave Britain’s oil tankers. British Prime Minister Theresa May has convened an emergency meeting to discuss these conditions on Monday.

London, AFP The issue of holding Britain’s oil tanker ‘Stena Impero’ by Iran is now catching up. Iran has ignored Britain’s appeal to leave the oil tanker.

On Sunday, the Iranian army released a video of the arrest of the oil tanker ‘Stena Impero’ in Virdyi, that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards surrounded the oil tanker around the Hormuz Straits on Friday and captured it.

After this, Britain, America, and European countries had asked Iran to leave the tanker. But Iran has not agreed to this. Britain had urged Iran to abandon the British tanker seized by Iran to reduce the tension in the Gulf.

Britain had said that it was a ‘totally unacceptable’ step to illegally seize this vessel in Omani waters.

In Theresa May called the Emergency Meeting,
UK Prime Minister Theresa will hold an emergency meeting of Britain’s Emergency Committee on Monday, in which discussions on the seizure of Iran’s oil tanker with Iran will be discussed.

The Downing Street spokesman said, With the taking of the update on the incident from the ministers and officials, maintenance of the shipping of the Persian Gulf will also be discussed in this meeting.

In discussions
with France and Germany, British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt talked to his French and German counterparts after seizing British oil tankers in Iran on Sunday by Iran.

Both the Ministers agreed with the Foreign Secretary and said that the safe route for ships through Homermus Strait is a top priority for European countries, while any potential increase can be avoided.

Thus, both countries have agreed on cooperation on this matter.

The UK before the rabbits said that he is considering all options to free his ship from Iran’s arrest. This includes steps such as banning Iran. Iran has baffled over such signs from Britain.

Iran says that Britain did not take any such steps, which would make the situation more complicated.

Crew members: Iran

Iran said that fast investigation of the ‘Steen Impero’ case depends on the cooperation of its crew members. The Director-General of Hormozguan Province Port and Maritime Authority Allah-Morad Afifur said The crew members of the British Oil Tanker are healthy and safe.

Tankers are in a safe place, in which all crew members are present. All their needs will be met, but the tanker case will be investigated and the Crew members will cooperate in this, then it will be completed soon.

The tanker was surrounded by four boats. A total of 23 crew members were boarded on this tanker. Apart from these 18 Indians, the citizens of Russia, Latvia, and the Philippines are also included.

Earlier this month, the British Royal Marine had seized a tanker of Iran, Grace, from Gibraltar for breaking European laws. After this, Iran also threatened to seize Britain’s oil tanker.
