Grenade Blast Near Pathankot Army Camp, Punjab, High Security Alert Continues
Pathankot Blast: On Monday morning Grenade Blast exploded near army camp in Pathankot, Punjab. The blast took place near Triveni Gate of an Army Camp in Pathankot which created a tension and panic atmosphere in the entire area. After getting the news police are keeping a high-security check and investigating the entire area. They are keeping a check and interrogating the people surrounded around the area.
It is said that the grenade is thrown by two bike riders but it is not confirmed yet. The CCTV footage installed over the area is being examined by the police. Following the attack, all the police check posts of Pathankot are put on high alert.

Pathankot SSP Surendra Lamba reached the situation and said the CCTV footage is being examined for this and security is being tightened in the area. Prompting the situation, the administration enhances the security measures, No injuries are reported.
Being adjacent to the Pakistan border terrorist attack in Pathankot creates a lot of danger. A few years back, Pathankot airbase was attacked by Pakistani terrorists. Infiltration attempts from Pakistan continue to happen in the border areas including Khemkaran near Pathankot.
