In Rajasthan, doctors working in the government service will now be able to go to a private hospital and neither see the patient nor will they be allowed to perform the operation. Investigation in private diagnostic centers will also be stopped. If the doctor will see the patient at his home, then he will be able to take the fees fixed by the government from the patient. Action will be taken if we are found guilty in investigation.

In this regard, the Director of the Medical Department has issued orders to all the District Chief Medical Officers and Hospital Superintendents. It says that doctors who are not taking non-practice allowance, will see the prescribed consultation fee if they see the patient at their residence. The fee information and rate will be displayed outside the consultation room.

It is noteworthy that in Rajasthan, doctors working in the government service will now be able to visit the private hospital and neither see the patients nor will they be allowed to perform the operation. Investigation in private diagnostic centers will also be stopped. Senior doctors posted in major hospitals of the state used to go to private hospitals and see the patients and perform the operation. Due to this, the service of government hospitals was disrupted. The government had also received a complaint that doctors of government hospitals pressurize patients to get them examined in private hospitals. During the accidental examination several times, the doctors were not found on the duty. For this reason, this order has been issued on the instruction of Dr. Raghu Sharma, Medical Minister.

Meanwhile, the government has decided to recruit one thousand posts of Ayurveda physicians and compounders. The Medical Minister informed that the recruitment process will start soon. 12,500 nursing personnel and 765 medical officers have been recruited in the medical department.
