For this, the Delhi government has issued a formal order. According to the order, maximum 200 people have been allowed in closed halls in Delhi for social / religious / sports entertainment / cultural / wedding or funeral related programs. While there is no limit to the maximum number of people in an open space.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has released a new set of SOPs to help in the operation of cinema halls with adherence to the Covid-19 protocol.

Theaters are opening for all people from today. The Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry has issued an SOP for this, giving the necessary instructions to follow the rules like sanitizing the hall after every show, following social distancing, wearing face masks etc. The minister said that digital booking of tickets will be encouraged to avoid congestion.
