Good news for cricket fans, sports activities will resume soon in India

The Indian government has executed Lockdown-4 due to Corona virus. As per the guidelines of the fourth phase of lockdown, stadiums will be opened across the country without spectators. This means that not only will the paths of sportspersons be opened in the country, but also preparations for all the big events including the IPL.

However, big tournaments like IPL and bilateral series will be organized only when foreign players start getting visas. Meanwhile, the BCCI has also refused to organize camps for cricketers coming under the agreement due to flight restrictions. It is also important for Indian players to practice in the open because most players do not have space to run.

BCCI will wait

The IPL was postponed indefinitely by the BCCI due to Coronavirus. All sporting events were stopped across the country. Players were forced to remain locked in homes. In such a situation, it has become clear from the government’s direction that even though the IPL could not be organized soon, its preparations can start now. At the same time, players can also reach the stadium and practice at least solo.

On the other hand, BCCI does not want to take any decision in a hurry. This is the reason why he has just refused to organize a camp for the players of Team India. One reason behind this is the ban on flight service. The BCCI has taken note of the central government guidelines. The central government has banned flights till May 31. In such a situation, the skill training camp for cricketers under the BCCI agreement will not be organized yet.

On behalf of the BCCI, Treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal has said that the safety of the players and support staff is paramount and does not want to reach a hasty decision, so that the corona will undermine the important steps taken by India to prevent the virus. Currently, BCCI will focus on the state level guidelines and then work with the state associations, so that skill training can be started at the local level. BCCI officials will be constantly associated with the team management and will formulate strategies in the future as things will be fine.

Olympics Preparation

Not only cricket, athletes of other sports have also opened the way to practice by reaching the stadium. At the same time, the Sports Authority of India (Sai) can also get players to practice in their centers across the country. Athletes who have been preparing for the Olympics have been seeking permission from the Sports Ministry for practice for a long time. Sai has also prepared guidelines for him.
