Every posture in Yoga is done for some purpose. Gomukhasana is done to get rid of the problems of the spine. As the name implies, this posture is like the cow’s face. Just as a jaw of the face of the cow is a bit further and in the same way, both knees are kept in the seat like the face of a cow. This seat is done only by sitting and the spine becomes straightforward, causing pain and other problems in it. Apart from this, the urinal system is also cured by this posture.

Steps
– First of all, bend the legs and sit on the floor. Hold on the ground next to the support of both hands.
– Turn the knees to the left thigh on the right jang. The lower thigh will be slightly ahead while slightly backward Move hands backward.
– Now hold the fingers of one hand with the fingers of the other hand behind the back. In it, the elbows on the right hand will remain above the left elbows. Foot claws stay on top of each other.

Iyengar method

Type one
Take a pillow in it and sit on it, then place the left thigh on the right thigh and sit in the position of the cross leg. Lock both hands behind the back.

Type two
People who are difficult to fold their legs, after placing the two thighs on each other, place a small cushion in between the knees and feet at the center of the paws. It will be able to sit in this state for a long time.

Type three
Those who have trouble hand turning. Put a pillow under the hip in it. Take a belt there and hold one end with one hand behind the bench while the other end holds the other hand over the head.
