Furious over PM Modi's statement of 'agitator', Tikait said- 'We are not jumlebaaz'

Farmers Protest: Rakesh Tikait criticizes PM’s ‘Andolan-jivi’ remark:

New Delhi. There is a continuous agitation by the farmers against the new agricultural laws. PM Modi had appealed to the farmers in the Rajya Sabha to end their agitation and work out a solution to whatever the problem is. However, in his address, he targeted some people and said that confusion has been spread in the name of agricultural law and for the past few times a new group of ‘agitators’ has been born in this country which cannot live without agitation.

The Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait Bhadak went after PM Modi’s use of the word ‘agitation’. Talking to the media, he said that PM Modi has called us ‘agitators’, it is very sad, oh we do agitate but we are not jumlebaaz. Law should be made on MSP, it is not being made. All three black laws are not coming to an end. In 2011, the Prime Minister had said that the MSP will be enacted in the country, it was a jumble, we are demonstrating peacefully but we are being ‘agitators’. But let me tell you that our movement will go on till the agricultural law is repealed.

‘Now not 4 lakh but 40 lakh tractors rally will be taken out’

Earlier, he also announced another tractor rally. Rakesh Tikait said on Tuesday that the farmers’ movement will continue even further and a similar movement will be taken up in the rest of the country. Now a rally of 40 lakh tractors, not four lakh, will be taken out.

‘The price of food grains in the country is not determined by hunger’

Whereas, immediately after this address by Rajya Sabha PM Modi, the National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, Rakesh Tikait had said that laws should be made on MSP, it will be in the interest of farmers but for this, the government will have to abolish all the three laws made earlier. . The price of food grains in the country is not determined by hunger. If a law is enacted on MSP, then farmers will get rid of looters. Prime Minister Modi should appeal that this front will thank the MLA and MP for leaving his pension, if he really wants the welfare of the farmers then first of all his three laws should be abolished with immediate effect.
