Fog spoils speed of trains, cancels 34 trains, reduces rail frequency by 26

Severe winter has started in North India. In such a situation, fog has also started falling in the plains of many states, due to which the operation of trains has also been affected. In view of this, the Northern Railway (Northern Railway) has canceled about 34 trains, while reducing the frequency of 26 trains. Apart from this, 4 trains have been partially canceled.

The order implemented from today, the order of the
railway has come into force from 16 December to 31 December 2020. Most such trains are canceled which runs daily or 5-6 days a week. Passengers may face problems due to cancellation of these trains. However, passengers who have already reserved tickets in these trains will be refunded the fare.

These trains were canceled

The names of the trains that have been canceled are as follows.

Anand Vihar-Sitamarhi
Anand Vihar-Danapur
Delhi Junction-Malda Town
Anand Vihar-Kamakhya
Delhi Junction-Alipurduar
New Delhi-New Jalpaiguri
Delhi Junction-Katihar Special

1. Train number 02571 – Gorakhpur – Anand Vihar Terminus will be canceled on all Wednesdays and Sundays between 16, 20, 23, 27 December and 30, 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, and 31 January .

2. Train number 02572 – Anad Vihar Terminus – Gorakhpur will be canceled on all Mondays and Thursdays between 17, 21, 24, 28, 31 December and 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25 and 28 January.

In trains whose frequency has decreased, the daily Delhi-Azamgarh Express will run only two days a week, while the 6-day Kanpur-New Delhi Special will now run only three days a week.

Apart from this, train number 05004 – Gorakhpur- Kanpur Anwarganj will remain partially canceled from Prayagraj Rambagh to Kanpur between December 16 and December 31. Train number 05003 – Kanpur Anwarganj – Gorakhpur will remain partially canceled between Anwarganj to Prayagraj Rambagh between December 16 and December 31.

Changes in the timing of these trains

1. 02504 New Delhi – Dibrugarh Rajdhani Weekly Special train – will run from New Delhi every Tuesday from December 15 at 11.25 am.

2. 05933/05934 Dibrugarh – Amritsar – Dibrugarh Weekly Special – Terminal station Dibrugarh has been replaced by Tinsukia.
3. 05933 Tinsukia – Amritsar Weekly Special train – will run from New Tinsukia every Tuesday from 09 December at 09.00.
4. 05934 Amritsar – New Tinsukia Weekly Special train – will run from Amritsar at 3.40 pm every Friday from December 18.
5. 02333 Howrah-Prayagraj Rambagh – From December 18, Howrah will leave daily at 8.00 pm.
6. 02334 Prayagraj Rambagh – Howrah – From December 19, Prayagraj will run from Rambagh daily at 3.40 pm.
