First sale Realme 8 India’s cheapest 5G phone today

Realme recently launched the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variants of the Realme 8 5G smartphone. With the launch of this base variant, the device has become the cheapest smartphone in India. It costs Rs 13,999.

The phone will be made available for sale for the first time today i.e. 18 May 2021 at 12 noon. The phone can be purchased from Realme.com and the e-commerce site Flipkart. The phone will come with two color options supersonic blue and supersonic black. Along with the phone base variant, two other storage variants will come in 4GB RAM 64GB storage and 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage option.

Specifications of Realme 8 5G Smartphone

Realme 8 5G smartphone has a 6.5-inch Full HD Plus display, which has a resolution of 2400/1080 pixels. The refresh rate of the phone is 90Hz. Its screen-to-body ratio is 90.5 percent. Its peak brightness is 600nits.

As a processor, Density 700 5G has been used in the phone, which will come with a 7nm process. The company claims that the Realme 8 5G is India’s first 5G phone, which will come with the Density 700 chipset. Powerful ARM Mali-G57 will be supported in it. Virtual RAM support will be available on the phone. With the help of which 4GB RAM can be converted to 5GB and 8GB RAM to 11GB RAM.

It will work on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. The quad-camera setup has been given on the rear panel of the Realme 8 5G smartphone. Its primary camera is 48MP primary camera with B & B Support for the camera and a macro lens will be available. The phone will come with a 5-night scape filter. The front has a 16MP camera.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. For power backup, the phone has a 5000mAh battery, which can be charged with the help of an 18W fast charger.
