First phase of drill for Corona Vaccine begins in Punjab, records recorded on portal

A two-day drill in two districts of Punjab, Nawanshahar and Ludhiana, on the Corona vaccine has started on Monday. 125 people from five areas of Nawanshahar and 175 from seven areas of Ludhiana were identified for vaccination. Successful messages have been sent to these people. Its record was also recorded on the portal.

Health Department Principal Secretary Hussan Lal said that the drill so far has been satisfactory. In the first phase in Punjab, 70 lakh people will be given anti-Corona vaccines. Since the record of each vaccine is to be maintained and its records will also have to be shared on the portal, it is being drilled before the vaccine arrives. Husan Lal said that it is expected that 15 to 16 lakh vaccines will be introduced in Punjab soon.

Sero survey will be conducted in five districts of the state

The central government has become serious after the introduction of a new form of corona virus in England. To conduct anti body test among the people, sero survey will be conducted in five districts of Punjab, Patiala, Pathankot, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Gurdaspur. Teams will take samples of 400-400 people from each district and send them to various labs of the country for testing.
