Chandigarh, Farmers’ organizations, which have been struggling for 27 days to repeal the three agrarian reform laws, have decided to withdraw from the railway track by 4 November, giving a 15-day ultimatum to the central government. Along with this, Bharat Bandh has been called on 5 November. Farmers’ organizations say that only goods trains can be operated till November 4, if passenger trains are run then the tracks will be blocked again

Decision to leave the track for goods trains by November 4 in the meeting of the synergy committee

After three bills passed by the Punjab government, the farmers’ organizations decided to withdraw from the railway track. Along with this, it was clear that the siege of BJP leaders, the petrol pumps of private company and the protest at the toll plaza will continue. The coordination committee will meet on November 4 to decide the next strategy.

Told ministers, goods trains will not be allowed from November 5

Three Punjab Ministers Trupt Rakshajadar Singh Bajwa, Bharat Bhushan Ashu and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa along with Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Captain Sandeep Sandhu met the farmers on Wednesday. Farmer leader Buta Singh Burjgil said that the minister had come to seek information from the farmers leaders about the decisions taken in the meeting. It has been made clear to the ministers that by November 4, the railway track is being emptied to get coal, DAP, Bardana and other essential goods. It will be closed again from November 5.

Errors in Punjab government bills but this is a partial victory for farmers

After discussing the agricultural bills of the Punjab government in the meeting of the coordination committee, the farmer leader Buta Singh Burjgil said that the ministers who came to meet have been told that there are some errors in these bills. But still passing this bill is a partial victory for the farmers. If the Governor does not sign the bills, they can also be gheraoed.

On October 27, 250 farmer organizations will meet in Delhi

Farmer leader Jagmohan Singh said that after giving an ultimatum to the siege of Punjab MLAs and ministers, the government has passed four bills. The conflict will now be carried across the country. There will be a meeting of all the farmers’ organizations in the country on 27 October in Delhi, which will include the leaders of more than 250 farmer organizations. If the central government does not cancel its laws, then Delhi can become the next center of the peasant struggle.

Uproar over sloganeering of petro dealers in the meeting

There was an uproar in the meeting of 30 farmers associations held at Kisan Bhavan when dealers of a private petrochemical company started shouting slogans after reaching the meeting. The situation became tense after this. Balbir Singh Rajewal, the head of Bhakiu Rajewal, alleged that the corporate houses have attacked the farmers for thwarting the struggle of the farmers.

After the uproar in the meeting, the leader of Bhakiyu Qadian said that when the farmers’ bread is snatched, the farmers will stage a dharna. Due to the policies of the Central Government, the peasant class has come on the streets. First demonetisation, then GST and now anti-agricultural laws have been made.
