Encounter between security forces and terrorists in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir; one terrorist killed, jawan injured

Baramula, ANI. An encounter is going on between security forces and militants in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter is taking place in Malamapora area of Sopore. Security forces have surrounded two terrorists. One terrorist has been killed in the encounter while an army soldier has also been injured. An army soldier was also martyred in this encounter in Pandushan area of Shopian.

In the meanwhile, security agencies have exposed the conspiracy of massive terror attack on Amarnath Yatra. Given the seriousness of the threat, the government has advised all the tourists including pilgrims to return as soon as possible. Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF and Army held a joint press conference in Srinagar and told that terrorists can target Amarnath pilgrims. Weapons, IEDs and sniper rifles have been recovered from Amarnath Yatra.

This includes landmine built in the Ordnance Factory of Pakistan. According to the army, there is evidence of the involvement of Pakistani Army directly in the conspiracy of the attack. At the same time, the security agencies made it clear that it was fully prepared to foil every conspiracy of Pakistan. Here, the politics has also been heated by the deployment of additional security forces in the valley.
