Delhi University DU will examine the mark sheets and other academic documents of students before giving admission in their colleges this year. DU has taken this decision this year. The administration argues that this decision has been taken so that no one can use fake documents. According to DU sources, DU Admission Process is going to start from 1st June 2019.

Guidelines for Colleges

The University has given these guidelines to colleges affiliated to DU after the admission committee meeting on Tuesday. Colleges have been told that the students who want to get admission in their colleges are selected in the cut off, their documents should be provided for a forensic examination.

These agencies will be examined

DU has said that it will also give the list of the agencies to the colleges which will conduct forensic examination for the colleges.

These documents will be checked

Class 10th Board Certificate

Class 12th Marksheet

Caste Certificate (if Applied)

Income Certificate (for OBC)

Support Certificate of the past three years (if applied)

Extracurricular Certificate

Meeting with NTA for the entrance exam

The DU admissions committee has not yet finalized what agency will do the DU Entrance Examination. Let the DU organize an entrance exam for admission in its various courses. As per News in Headlines report, officials have said that this reason is responsible for the delay in the start of the admission process. It is being said that the responsibility of entrance to the National Testing Agency is likely to be given only.
