Washington: US President Donald Trump on Sunday claimed that the US knows and is monitoring the successors of the slain ISIS chief Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.
Trump announced Sunday that Islamic State (ISIS) kingpin Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in action by US special forces in northwestern Syria on Saturday.
President Trump told reporters after announcing Baghdadi’s death, “We know of his successors and we have an eye on them.” He said in response to a question, earlier this year, American soldiers killed Hamza bin Laden, son of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
Trump said, ‘Killing Hamza bin Laden was a big achievement but it is the biggest achievement. Osama bin Laden was a big terrorist, but the attack on the World Trade Center made Laden a big terrorist.
At the same time, this person had captured the entire region and made a country which he called ‘Khilafat’ and he was trying to do it again. ‘
He also said, ‘I had not heard much about Baghdadi’s health. I had heard that he was not well, but he died a very scary death, I can say this to you.
