Abdul Mateen Khan and Shubham Gupta, who are studying medical in Xi’an city of China, were brought to Delhi by special aircraft with the help of the government after the corona virus spread there. Was kept in Gurugram camp for 15 days
On February 2, after being brought to India, he was kept in an army camp at Gurugram near Delhi. After 15 days of surveillance, he was allowed to visit Khargone. In Gogawan, student Abdul said in a discussion with Dainik Jagran’s collaborative publication ‘Naiduniya’ that the information of corona virus in Wuhan was leaked in December, but his medical studies were under examination at that time. He was not detected by this virus. On January 10, information was spread about the outbreak of the virus, then it was banned even when they got out of the hostel, while this virus became completely active when it started to frighten them. He spoke to the family over the phone. On the phone, Abdul told that about 300 students from India study medical in his college.
Health department team reached home
Abdul’s home health department team also arrived in Khargone. District DCO Dr. Sunil Verma and District Epidemiologist Dr. Revaram Koshale. The team gave the bottle of sanitizer, advising Matin to apply a mask. The family also investigated and gave tips to protect against the virus. Matin was advised to stay at home.
Shubham maintained confidence even in the moment of panic
Shubham, who returned home, said that he was shocked by the news of the infection in China. As the death toll increased, it was natural for him to be distracted. But he maintained confidence. He had faith in the Government of India. He also thanked the media and family, who got him out of the trouble. Shubham said that he would go back to China after the situation returned to normal. College management has started online classes so that there is no interference in studies. About 150 corona infected patients were admitted to the hospital affiliated to Shubham’s medical college. The Chinese government was constantly issuing alerts and appeals. The hostel also continued to be cleaned.
