After getting the green signal from Bipin Rawat, now the Dhoni Parachute Regiment will train with the battalion. It is expected that he will complete some part of his training in Jammu and Kashmir. Although it has been cleared that Dhoni may take the training with the army, he will not be part of any active operation. Let us know that the parachute regiment of the Dhoni Territorial Army is also honorary Lieutenant Colonel and he will spend his next two months with his regiment.

Top Army Sources: MS Dhoni’s request to train with Indian Army has been approved by General Bipin Rawat. He will train with the Parachute Regiment Battalion Some part of the training is also expected to take place in J & K Army will not allow Dhoni to be part of any active OP

Significantly, there was a lot of questions about Dhoni’s performance in the World Cup. He was severely criticized for his slow batting especially. It was said that Dhoni would take his retirement after the World Cup, but he made it clear that he is not going to say goodbye to cricket right now. Dhoni’s chief selector MSK Prasad has also said that Dhoni is a great player and he knows when he has to take a decision about it. It is their personal decision to retire and there is no pressure on this.

Dhoni was given the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Territorial Army in 2011. The Army love of Dhoni is not hidden from anyone. In an interview he had said that he wanted to become a soldier since childhood. He used to often go to Ranchi’s Cantt area, but the luck was something else approved. He could not become the officer of the army and became a cricketer.
