Kathmandu, ANI. Dengue havoc continues in Nepal’s capital. Officials said that on an average around 100 patients suffering from dengue fever are visiting hospitals in Kathmandu daily.
Dr. Sher Bahadur Pun, head of clinical research unit at Sukhraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital, said on Thursday, one new case is coming out successively. He said that this happened after the monsoon.
According to the records provided by the epidemiology and disease control division of OPAL, between July and November, six patients died of mosquito-borne disease across the Himalayan nation and 14,662 patients were registered. Earlier 3,424 people were infected three months ago.
