After this, the Meteorological Department announced the arrival of monsoon in Delhi only on the basis of the total rainfall during the last 24 hours. On Thursday, Delhi’s maximum temperature was 36.6 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal. The minimum temperature was a notch below average at 26.8 degrees Celsius. The humidity level was 92 to 59 percent. Rainfall was 14.6 mm (mm) till 8:30 AM, while 16.8 mm till 5:30 PM. The Meteorological Department says that the weather in Delhi will remain more or less the same. Maximum and minimum temperatures will also remain in this range.
Friday and Saturday will be partly cloudy, according to the Meteorological Department. Light rain may also occur. The weather is expected to be normal on Sunday and Monday. Rains may increase slightly from Tuesday. On the other hand, Mahesh Palawat, chief meteorologist at Skymet Weather, said that cyclonic circulation is still present in eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The India Meteorological Department has forecast rain with the active monsoon in Delhi-NCR on Friday. According to IMD, the monsoon has already knocked over eastern Uttar Pradesh. Delhi-NCR will receive rain on Friday.
Meanwhile, Skymet Weather meteorologist GP Sharma said that the monsoon has knocked in Delhi-NCR. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain till Friday. The maximum temperature due to rain will remain below 34 degrees. The minimum temperature will also be close to 28 degrees. The weather may remain dry on Saturday and Sunday. Rain is expected again from Monday.
