The sequence of deaths in the violence in North East Delhi is not taking its name. Last week, 24 to 25 February, 50 deaths have been reported in violence in more than half a dozen areas including Zafarabad, Shivpuri, Brahmapuri, Karaval Nagar, Bhajanpura.

Aam Aadmi Party’s suspended councilor Tahir Hussain has filed a petition for anticipatory bail in a Karkardooma court court. This petition will be heard on Wednesday. According to Additional Public Relations Officer of Delhi Police ACP Anil Mittal, 436 cases have been registered in riots in North East Delhi. With this, 1427 people have been detained by the police. Of the 436 cases recorded, 45 are covered by the Arms Act.
