Delhi residents get very good news in Unlock-4, government approves opening of gym and yoga center
After Metro, now Yoga Center and Gym in Delhi will also be open. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has finally given its approval after a long tug of war. After this approval, a written order to this effect has also been issued by Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Dev on Sunday late evening.
According to this order, approval has been given to open weekly markets by September 30 on a pilot basis. This is the third time the weekly market trial date has been extended.
Significantly, gym owners and yoga center operators have been demanding to open them for a long time. But DDMA was not prepared for this, given Corona’s growing crisis in Delhi. The Delhi government had also been appealing to DDMA to open them for a long time.
According to the information, this decision of DDMA will open around 5500 gyms in Delhi. The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has also been issued for the Gym and Yoga Center. According to how many people will be in the gym, it will depend on his place.
According to the SOP, there will be one person in every four square meters inside the gym. Similarly, a person doing gym will have to keep his hand sanitized at least every 20 seconds. The gym operator must ensure that the gym equipment is at a distance of six feet. All types of payments will be contactless ie there should be cashless payment facility. There should also be sanitization and thermal screening at the entrance. It will be mandatory to put face masks inside the gym. You will also have to apply while doing yoga.
