The stubble burning being done in some areas of Uttar Pradesh including Punjab and Haryana, along with other factors, has worsened the air pollution situation in Delhi-NCR. Due to the poisonous air, people doing morning walk on Friday morning looked upset. People complained of eye irritation with shortness of breath. At the same time, according to the Central Pollution Control Board, the situation is very bad in Delhi on Friday morning. On Friday, the air quality level in Anand Vihar area of ​​Delhi is 422, RK Puram 407, 421 in Dwarka and 430 in Bawana. According to meteorologists, if the situation remains the same, then in the coming days, it can turn into a situation like Delhi-NCR Gains Chamber. Experts say that in the coming days, the work of burning stubble in Punjab and Haryana will take hold, which can make the situation worse before Diwali.

Earlier on Thursday, air pollution in Delhi-NCR reached a critical level. For the first time in Delhi-NCR, the air quality index of many places / cities fell above 400 i.e. severe category. Not only this, the quantity of PM 2.5 and PM 10 also saw a significant increase. The air level is also now indicating to us to be serious about pollution. The air quality index of the capital Delhi had reached the 343 mark on Wednesday itself.According to Safar, an air quality index monitoring body run by the Union Ministry of Earth Sciences, the smoke from the stubble has started to overwhelm the people of Delhi-NCR. Delhi’s own pollution was already present in the atmosphere, the smoke from the straw has made the situation worse. 

According to Safar, starchy smoke accounted for 42 per cent of Delhi’s pollution on Thursday, which is the highest this season. According to Safar India, the main reason for increasing pollution is also the air coming from the northwest. Along with this, the smoke of starch burning in Punjab and Haryana is coming from Delhi.
