Read Time:1 Minute, 51 Second

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday addressed the TIE Global Committee 2020. During this time he shared the efforts of the Delhi government to build a comprehensive infrastructure in Delhi and turn it into a global start-up destination. CM was the only Chief Minister of India to attend this summit. He said that the Delhi government is committed to ensuring a strong return, leaving behind the influence of covid.

Kejriwal said that I am happy that Delhi has achieved leadership status as a start-up place in India. There are more than 7000 start-ups in Delhi. Delhi is the most active start-up city in the country with an estimated valuation of around $ 50 billion. Kejriwal said that with the setting up of new hitech industrial areas in Delhi, there will be an option to shift the industries in the old industrial areas to new areas without paying conversion charges, which will prove to be an important step in creating a clean and green Delhi.

Kejriwal said that the Delhi government is in advanced stage of starting a start-up policy, the policy is being developed after consultation with TIE Delhi and key entrepreneurs to prepare provisions for start-up facilities in Delhi. . He said that under the start-up policy, we plan to provide parallel free loans and set up a dedicated helpline for startups to address their concerns and help in utilization of government services.

Along with this, the Delhi Government has taken unprecedented short and long-term steps to ensure better human labor for startups in Delhi through entrepreneurship courses in schools and Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University. No power cuts here, 24-hour power Delhi Delhi is perhaps the only city in India to provide 24-hour power supply to its residents. We do not have power cuts. DG sets and inverters are all becoming useless, but this was not the case in Delhi 5 years ago, when there was a power cut of 4 to 6 hours in summer. Kejriwal said that in the last 5 years we have upgraded the entire network. Worked round the clock with power companies to ensure 24-hour power supply to people at the lowest tariff possible.
