Read Time:2 Minute, 11 Second

Doctors are also worried about the increasing cases of corona in the capital of Delhi. Most doctors say that corona cases have increased due to non-compliance with corona prevention rules, increased traffic, and people coming to Delhi from other states. A similar situation may persist for a few days, but the situation is under control. Hopefully, the situation will not come as before. Along with this, doctors are suggesting the need to do more RTPCR tests than antigen tests.

In this regard, Dr. SK Sarin, director of the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), said that the increase in corona cases is worrisome. The reason for this is more antigen probe and less RTPCR probe. With the RTPCR investigation taking place, most of the cases were catching up. The decision by the Delhi government to extend the investigation is absolutely appropriate, so the capacity to conduct 40 thousand sample tests per day will have to be increased soon. Under this, the RTPCR investigation should be conducted more.

Two doctors sent on leave for not wearing masks

He said that one has to assume that every person is infected, so it is necessary to wear a mask. Two doctors and a technician have been sent on leave for three days for not wearing masks in the hospital. Such strictness will have to be done everywhere. Cases are also increasing due to people not using masks.

Fear of Corona ended among people!

Dr. Jugal Kishore, Head of the Department of Preventive and Community Medicine of Safdarjung Hospital, said that now the fear of the people is over. Most things have been opened, so business and traffic have increased. People from outside are also reaching Delhi. Apart from this, people from NCR are also coming to Delhi for treatment. Cases have increased due to this. Appropriate steps will have to be taken to prevent the disease by analyzing the current situation.

This time there will be a sero survey on 17 thousand samples

Sero survey started again from 1 September. This time around 17 thousand samples will be taken from all 11 districts of Delhi. In the last survey, samples of 15 thousand people were taken. Antibodies were found in about 29 percent of the people.

These are the 5 reasons why the growth of Corona

  1. Not following the rules of Corona Prevention properly.
  2. Not following the physical distance rules.
  3. Reducing people’s use of masks.
  4. Coming to Delhi from other states for work, especially migrant laborers.
  5. Antigen probe more and RTPCR probe less, because cases are caught by RTPCR itself.
