
Delhi air pollution: Air pollution will increase more from Friday, may increase on Diwali

According to the Meteorological Department, since Tuesday night, the wind direction has changed from northwest to eastern. Wind speed has also improved. Due to this, the polluting particles in the air are not able to stay. There is a possibility of some relief on Thursday. However, Safar forecasts that from Friday the wind speed will also slow down and the wind direction will return to the northwest. This will only increase the amount of pollution in the air.
On the other hand incidents of stubble burning are still going on in the border parts of Punjab, Haryana and Pakistan. According to Safar, 2,422 cases of stubble burning were reported on Tuesday. At the same time, its smoke share in Delhi’s pollution was just three percent.
