Death toll in anti-government demonstrations in Iraq 25
Baghdad, ANI. The number of people who died in anti-government protests in Iraq has increased. On Thursday, 25 people have died in this demonstration.
In fact, the Iranian consulate was set on fire by demonstrators on Wednesday in protest against Iran’s political interference in Iraq.
Subsequently, Iraq’s Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi ordered the deployment of security personnel to maintain security in all areas.
Tear gas and firing were carried out by the police to prevent this protest. Its action killed at least 25 protesters while more than 100 people were injured.
