Country’s first internet car Hector booking start from today, Mobile apps will be used to stop/start car

MG Hector Petrol and Diesel will come in both the options.
Both engines are BS4 and are equipped with 6-speed manual gearbox.

The booking of SUV hex of MG Motors is starting on 4th June. Booking can be done from the company’s official website. This booking will be done at the company’s 120 Centers in the country. MG Hector in India will be launched in June. Price of SUV can be between Rs. 15 lakh and Rs. MG Hector 4 will come in Variant (Style, Super, Smart and Sharp). Large panoramic sunroof has also been provided in this 5-seater SUV.

Internet connectivity

Hector SUV is the first car in its segment, which will come with the convenience of car in-car (in-car) through the SIM card. It will support more than 50 features. Over-the-air (OTA) software will be able to provide updates from the Internet connectivity to the Company Hector SUV. Also it will also get geofencing feature i.e. if you remove your car from the specified place, then you will receive an alert immediately. Hector also has the facility of mobile app, so that you can control the SUV’s AC, sunroof and other basic function, including door remotely.

The engine

MG Hector Petrol and Diesel will come in both the options. Its petrol engine is 1.5 liters, generating power of 143hp and 250Nm torque. The 2.0-liter diesel engine generates 170hp of power and 350Nm torque. Both engines are BS4 and are equipped with 6-speed manual gearbox. Petrol engine also has a 6-speed automatic transmission option. 48V Mild hybrid variant of petrol engine will also be available, which will give 12% more mileage than standard petrol engine.
