Coronavirus: There is no decrease in the death figures from Corona even on the ninth day in Spain

Madrid, IANS The death toll from the Corona virus (COVID-19) has remained unchanged in Spain for nine consecutive days, a figure shown Tuesday by the Spanish Ministry of Health. According to Xinhua report, 27,136 people have lost their lives with COVID-19 so far. Answering a question from Xinhua, the Ministry of Health acknowledged that data updates were delayed as the country’s 17 autonomous communities were refining their data and introducing that data into the system.

But it said it believed that “communities would soon be able to present their data and we could bring the data up to date.” 76 new cases of COVID-19 were also seen by PCR tests on Tuesday, a total of 244,328 compared to 40 registered in the previous 24-hour period. Of the new cases, 56 were from Madrid and Catalonia, while none of Spain’s remaining autonomous communities reported more than three infections.
