Coronavirus News Updates: 6 People Died In US, 80,151 Cases Reported Worldwide

On Monday, the death toll in the US from the Corona virus rose to six. Five of the six deaths occurred in King County. Whereas, one person has died in Snohomish County. So far, 43 cases have been reported in the country. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 1,500 new cases of corona virus have been reported outside China in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the death toll outside China has risen to 128. According to the latest WHO report, the number of patients outside China has increased to 8,774 in 64 countries. 

The death toll due to corona virus outbreak in China has increased to 2,943. Chinese health officials informed about it on Tuesday. At the same time, the number of patients has reached 80,151. Officials reported 31 more deaths and 125 new cases due to corona virus infection, according to Xinhua News Agency. All deaths have occurred in Hubei, where the virus began to spread..Meanwhile, 129 new suspected cases have been reported. 

The Chinese Health Commission said that 2,742 people were discharged from the hospital on Monday. In addition, the number of serious cases declined from 304 to 6,806. Treatment of 30,004 patients is still going on. 47,204 patients have been discharged from the hospital. The commission said 587 people are still suspected of being infected with the virus.

In Hong Kong .00 cases have been confirmed, including two deaths. 10 cases have been confirmed in Macao and 41 cases have been confirmed in Taiwan. 36 were discharged from hospital in Hong Kong, eight in Macau and 12 in Taiwan.

There are two new cases in India on Monday. One of these cases has come up in Delhi and the other in Telangana. Earlier there were three cases in Kerala. All three have been discharged from the hospital.
