According to researchers at the Russian National Research University Higher School of Economics, with the help of these potential drugs, structural elements of the corona virus can be absorbed in the treatment. In a study published in the journal Mendeleev Communications, researchers said that a protein called M-Pro has an important role in replicating the corona virus. By curbing this ability, replication of the corona inside the body can be completely stopped. This dangerous virus infects human cells in this way.

The severity of the virus can be reduced

The drug was tested with drugs approved by the American Food and Drug Administration to get rid of alcohol addiction. Researchers reported that commonly used drugs to relieve alcohol addiction were found to be effective in combating corona in two ways. This can reduce symptoms as well as reduce the severity of the virus. He said that more research needs to be done regarding these drugs. Earlier studies have also revealed the treatment of corona virus with many existing drugs. 

Corona’s havoc continues worldwide
