Coronavirus kills 25 people in China so far
China is battling a deadly coronavirus in its own province. On the other hand, crores of Chinese Lunars are preparing for the New Year.
Beijing and Hong Kong have canceled several major celebrations to prevent crowds from gathering. In order to prevent the virus from spreading in the city of Wuhan and other cities, large steps have been taken under which public transport has been banned.
On Friday, the Chinese administration said that the death toll has risen to 25, while 830 people are affected by it.
The National Health Commission has said that in the cases that have been confirmed, 177 people are in critical condition while 34 people have been discharged from the hospital. Also, 1,072 suspected patients have been identified who may be vulnerable.
