Coronavirus in Brazil: More than 50 thousand deaths, more than 1 million cases

So far, 10, 85, 038 cases have been reported here. At the same time the death toll has increased to 50,617. News agency ANI was quoted by the country’s health ministry as saying.

According to the Ministry of Health, so far 5,50,000 people have recovered from the infection. On Saturday, Brazil’s Ministry of Health confirmed about 35,000 new Corona virus cases and more than 1,000 new deaths in a 24-hour period. On Friday, the number of infected patients in the country exceeded 1 million. The first case of Corona in Brazil was revealed on 26 February.

Experts say that due to not much testing, Corona’s case is likely to exceed the official figures. President Jair Bolsonaro was widely criticized for dealing with the crisis. Also, there is no permanent health minister in the country. The two ministers resigned after April’s confrontation with the president.
