Coronavirus: 2112 Dead Due To Corona Virus In China, Youngest Patient Wins Battle

The number of people who lost their lives to Corona virus infection in China has reached 2112. Most of the deaths occurred in Hubei province. Health officials said that more than 74 thousand people have been infected with the virus across the country. According to the Provincial Health Commission, 349 new cases of corona virus were reported in Hubei on Thursday and 108 people died. Thus far the number of people who lost their lives has been 2029 in Hubei alone.

The corona virus first originated in Wuhan in December last year, and has since spread to many countries around the world, including India. The figure has risen to eight after two patients died in Iran due to the Corona virus outside China.

A good news has emerged amidst continuous deaths from Corona virus. A seven-month-old baby infected with the virus has been discharged from the hospital in Chongping municipality of southwest China. The child was the youngest patient of the corona virus in Chongqing and confirmed to be infected on February 3, Xinhua reported.

A major achievement has been made in the direction of finding the vaccine and treatment of deadly corona virus. Its 3D atomic scale map has been prepared by US scientists. Scientists at the University of Texas and the National Institutes of Health have achieved this success with the help of genetic code of viruses provided by researchers from China. Scientists are striving towards research, sharing this atomic map with scientists from all over the world. Hopefully with this, it may be possible to prepare the immune system to fight the virus.
