Communist Chinese Military Company’s tag removed from Xiaomi, know the whole matter

The US administration has removed the tag of “Communist Chinese Military Company” on China’s high-profile tech firm Xiaomi. Let us know that during the Trump administration, Xiaomi was blacklisted in America. At the same time, the Xiaomi company was given the status of “Communist Chinese Military Company”. In such a situation, Xiaomi company was facing difficulties in doing business in America.

The court called the decision arbitrary 

According to Techcrunch’s report, the District Court in Columbia, US, vacated Xiaomi’s office in January, when Xiaomi was declared a military engagement company. The company moved the court against the Trump government’s decision and sued the US government, challenging the company to be blacklisted.

Subsequently, in March, Xiaomi was initially exempted from the title of a military company by the District Court. Only after this, all American citizens were able to get discounts in buying their brand smartphones and other electronic products. Also, the court said that such a decision of the government is arbitrary. However, Xiaomi’s domestic company Huawei has not been exempted from US sanctions. In such a situation, Huawei will be blacklisted in America as before. With this, Huawei will not be able to sell its smartphone in many other countries along with the US.

Xiaomi’s statement 

In this case, Xiaomi has given a statement that the company is thankful for the trust and support of the global user, partner, employees, and shareholders. The company reiterated that it is an open, transparent, public trading independent, and organized company. The company assured that it will continue to provide innovative electronics products and services to the consumer even further.
