Close to success, Corona’s vaccine, Oxford vaccine increases immunity in people

Read Time:2 Minute, 14 Second

Oxford University, said on Tuesday that people who had been given their corona vaccine supplements for testing developed strong immunity. Oxford University is developing the Corona vaccine in collaboration with the UK pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca. Although the initial results of the test have not yet been officially released, university professor Andrew Pollard said at a recent Research Conference conference that positive results were found.

The statement issued by Oxford University stated that Professor Pollard referred to the second phase of security and immune system. In this phase, people aged 56 to 69 and over 70 years of age have been tried in Britain. AstraZeneca vaccine is undergoing a third phase clinical trial on humans. It remains at the forefront of the vaccine race. It is believed that soon it will come in the market.

Early results showed effective vaccine on the elderly

The Corona epidemic is a relief news amid the ongoing war. The Corona vaccine at Oxford University, formed in collaboration with the British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, has reached close to success. In the last phase of the trial, this vaccine has been found to be as effective as the youth even in the elderly. Given the deteriorating immune system with increasing age, the effect of the vaccine on the elderly is encouraging. Meanwhile, the newspaper ‘The Sun’ has quoted the staff of a large hospital trust in London as saying that hospitals have been instructed to be ready to vaccinate from November 2. It would be very reassuring for the global economy to be affected by Corona as soon as the vaccine comes to market

An AstraZeneca spokesperson said, “It is heartening to note that the vaccine has shown similar impact in both the young and the elderly.” Also, its side effects are also less visible in the elderly. These results have provided another proof in the direction of safe and effective vaccine. With increasing age, the body’s resistance decreases. This is the reason that the number of elderly people is more among those who lost their lives due to the virus. In such a situation, it is good news for elderly people to produce better immune response with the help of vaccine. If this vaccine continues to work, it will help the world suffering from the epidemic to return to normal as soon as possible.

This Oxford vaccine is in the late stages of testing. Its initial results will be published soon. AstraZeneca has so far signed agreements to supply vaccines from several countries. Meanwhile, British Health Minister Matt Hancock expects the vaccine to hit the market in early 2021. However, he has not ruled out the possibility of getting the vaccine this year.
