China expressed concern on the US about selling weapons to Taiwan

Washington, Reuters The US is preparing to sell tanks and several weapons to Taiwan under the Big Defense Deal. The cost of these weapons is being reported to be more than two billion dollars. Expressing concern over this sale, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has said that the US should stop selling arms to Taiwan to avoid damage to bilateral relations.

Sources linked to this arms deal reported that the American Parliament has been informed about the proposed purchase. He said Taiwan is likely to be selling anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles with 108 M1A2 Abrams tanks.

China, which has been giving its share to Taiwan, has threatened military action several times to occupy it. He insults the US relations with the island region of Taiwan. America is Taiwan’s main weapon supplier country. Taiwanese President Sai Eng-Wayne said in the last March, “In view of the growing Chinese pressure, the US is positively responding to our urges to buy new weapons to increase defense efficiency.”

Last year, military equipment was approved to sell

The US sanctioned 33 million dollars military equipment to Taiwan in September last year. It included F-16 fighter aircraft and other military aircraft parts. Tired of this, China has warned the United States that its new move can jeopardize the relations between the two countries.
