The politics of Bengal was warmed on Monday in the Narada sting operation case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took strong action in the morning and arrested four ministers, including two Bengal government ministers and an MLA, when Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was agitated. Protesting, she sat on a dharna in the CBI office. During this time, where she remained in office for about six hours, the workers of her party Trinamool Congress (TMC) came down the road, flouting the rules of complete lockdown.

Activists staged protests across the state and threw stones outside the CBI office. Meanwhile, BJP state president Dilip Ghosh filed a case against him at the Cotwali police station, accusing him of breaking the law on the dharna on behalf of Mamata in the CBI office. The four leaders have been sent to jail custody till Wednesday

However, at seven o’clock in the evening, all the arrested leaders got bail from the lower court. But at night there was a dramatic turn in the case when the CBI reached the High Court against it, where the court imposed a stay on the decision of the lower court and directed all the leaders to be sent to jail custody. The four leaders were sent to the Presidency Jail in the night itself. Now the case will be heard on Wednesday.

The CBI team reached the house of Minister Subrata Mukherjee, Firhad Hakim, and MLA Madan Mitra on Monday morning as well as a former minister and former Kolkata Mayor Shobhan Chatterjee. The Central Force was also accompanied by the CBI. The team brought the said four to the office at Nizam Palace. As soon as the information was received, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sat in the office of the investigating agency. As soon as he reached there, he challenged and said that CBI will have to arrest me as well, otherwise, I will not leave from here. She exited the office at around 4:30 in the evening.

During this time he did not talk to the media. However, alleging that BJP leaders Mukul Roy and Suvendu Adhikari are also accused in the same case, but why action has not been taken against them. He alleged that at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the leaders of my party have been arrested without giving any notice.
