Bumrah opened Raj- Virat Kohli’s decision gave me a hat-trick
Jasprit Bumrah, who flashed the West Indies with excellent line and length, speed and bounce, told the Indian captain Virat Kohli that this hat-trick was received because of him.
Jasprit Bumrah, who flashed the West Indies with excellent line length, speed, and bounce, told Indian captain Virat Kohli that this hat-trick was found in his favor. After Bumrah’s dismissal of the West Indies batsman, it could be heard in the stump mic that Kohli was saying, ‘What a great bowler this is. What a wonderful bowler.
Bumrah took six wickets including a hat-trick in the first innings of the West Indies on the second day of the second Test against the West Indies. His hat-trick also goes to Captain Kohli, who reviewed Roston Chase, who was earlier called a not out by on-field umpire Paul Reiffel. But he came out after the review and became the third victim of Bumrah’s hat-trick.

During the conversation on ‘BCCI TV,’ Kohli caught the mic and Bumrah said, ‘To be honest, I did not know, I was not sure about this appeal. I thought it was a bat so I didn’t appeal much but in the end, it turned out to be a good review. So I think I got it because of the hat-trick captain.
Bumrah said, ‘Sometimes when the wicket helps so much, as we also saw in the last innings, there was a lot of bounce and they were getting a lot of bounce. He was also getting movement.
He said, ‘So occasionally when so much help you get tempted. You can be aggressive for the wicket and at that time you have to keep things simple. You try to pressurize by throwing a good ball. All these things were going on in my mind.
