Budget Session LIVE Updates: Budget Session Of Parliament Will Start Today, Important Bills Will Be Introduced; Uproar Over Delhi Violence Set

Read Time:2 Minute, 10 Second

Today the second part of the budget session of Parliament is going to start. The session is likely to be uproar as the Congress party said it would seek resignation from Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the alleged failure of the central government in the Delhi violence. Addressing the joint meeting began. The House saw opposition to the CAA at the time. This budget session will run till 3 April..

Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary and K Suresh have proposed a stay in the Lok Sabha regarding the Delhi violence. There is a possibility of uproar in the House today on Delhi violence

-Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Trust Bill 2020 in the Lok Sabha today through a direct tax dispute

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan will present the Termination of Pregnancy (Amendment) Bill 2020 in Lok Sabha today.

Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will present the Union Sanskrit University Bill 2019 in the Rajya Sabha today.

Before the commencement of the budget session of Parliament, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has given a suspension of business notice under Rule 267 on Delhi violence in Rajya Sabha. CPI (M) MP KK Ragheshansad has also given a suspension of business notice in Rajya Sabha under Rule 267 on violence in Delhi.

he second part of the budget session starting on Monday seems to be very rude. On the one hand, while opposition parties are planning a strategy to surround the government by uniting the Delhi riots, the government is preparing to retaliate with a proposal to discuss every issue. It is believed that in the first week of this month-long session, at least the heat of rioting will be felt within the House. The protests that started with the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Civil Register (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR) have taken violent forms in Delhi.

The Bihar Legislative Assembly has passed a resolution to make NPR not on the proposed new format but on the basis of the 2010 format. Obviously, this too has given the opportunity to the opposition parties to create moral pressure. The Bihar election is now just six-seven months away. In such a situation, the opposition has tightened up. It is said that the Congress has also talked to other opposition parties and a strategy has been made to surround the government in Parliament. Obviously, it will not be easy for the government to handle all its work.
