Box Office Collection: Mission Mangal overtakes Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh in these cases

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer film Kabir Singh was released on 21 June, setting several new records, earning over 277 crores. But the recently released multistarrer film Mission Mangal has surpassed Kabir Singh in some cases. The film Mission Mangal, which crossed the 100 crore mark in just five days, is moving ahead with good speed. The film will soon cross the 150 crore mark. 

Actually, in the matter of Opening, Kabir Singh has been defeated by Mission Mangal. Mission Mangal released on August 15, Independence Day, had a grand opening with Rs 29.16 crore. Thus, this film has come second in the list of films released in 2019. Above this is Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s film Bharat which took an opening of 42.30 crores. At the same time, Kabir Singh took the opening of Rs 20.21 crore. Let us tell you that Mission Mars was released on Thursday, due to which the film has got extended weekend. Kabir Singh was released on Friday, just like every film. 

In another category, Kabir Singh has been overtaken by Mission Mangal. If we talk about Sunday’s collection, then Kabir Singh earned 27.26 crores on the first Sunday. At the same time, Mission Mangal earned Rs 27.50 crore on the first Sunday i.e. August 18. Thus the film beat Kabir Singh on Sunday in the matter of collection. 

Let us tell you that the film Mission Mars is progressing with good speed. It is being speculated that the film will soon enter 200 crore club.
