Booster Dose heading in Covid Third Wave: Frontline Workers and 60+ receiving third dose of vaccine
A power booster dose is being adminstered in the country. As the thrid wave of Covid is inevitable, and to cure the prevention of the widespread disease. The roadmap for booster dose are being applied to those elderly people and healthcare workers who are immunocompromised.
Amist the rising cases of Covid 19 variant Omicron, the Fortes Heart Institute Chairman Dr Ashok Seth said, A third wave of covid is inevitable and so to protect people who have comorbidities who are immunocompromised and healthcare workers must proceed to apply power booster dose.

When will the booster dose be given?
From today onwards the booster dose are being given in the country. The healthcare, frontline workers and elderly people above 60 years of age suffering from serious illness. The vaccine dose of Corona will be the same vaccine that was given as the first and second doses. The government said that those who have received both the doses of covishield vaccine earlier, will also be given the third dose.
To apply for the third dose the Health Minsiter said there is no need to apply for the new registration. The new feature has been added to take the third dose on the Covin portal.This new feature is for those who are eligible for the third dose of the corona vaccine.
The elderly people above the age of 60 years and the people who are suffering with severe diseases like diabities, kidney disease or dialysis, cardiovascular disease etc are involved to take the power dose.
