Actress Sridevi Passed Away at 54

Legendary actress and the first female superstar of Bollywood Sridevi passed away after a massive cardiac arrest on the night of February 24^th at Dubai. It came as shocking news to the entire film fraternity of India as well as millions of fans all across the globe as she was just 54 and was leading a peaceful and happy life along with her husband Boney Kapoor and two children, Jahnvi and Khushi Kapoor. She also did not have any problems related to heart as per the reports of Boney Kapoor’s brother Sanjay Kapoor.

Sridevi along with her husband and younger daughter Khushi went to Dubai to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah wedding. However, after the wedding the Kapoor’s family returned back except for Sridevi as she wanted to spend some time holidaying at Dubai.

Her husband Boney Kapoor did give her a surprise visit but little he knew that it would be his last meeting with her beloved wife.

Sridevi collapsed at her hotel at around 11pm and was declared dead when she was brought to the hospital. It is indeed shocking as hours earlier she was sharing the happy moments of her nephew’s marriage on instagram. The whole Bollywood is mourning and condolence messages from all around India are flooding the social media networking sites. Kamal Hassan, Rajinikant, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Narendra Modi, Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, Sushant Singh Rajput, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sachin Tendulkar and many more have grieved over the sudden death of Sridevi.

It is expected that the mortal remains of her body will return to India today after completing all the necessary legal procedures along with post-mortem and forensic tests. The cremation process is also expected to be done today.

Sridevi was last seen in the movie Mom released last year and will be last seen in a cameo appearance in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie Zero in December this year.
