Bill Gates and Melinda’s marriage broken up, divorce after 27 years of living together

Bill and Melinda were married in the year 1994. Both also run a philanthropic organization Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Bill Gates and his wife Melinda, Microsoft’s co-founders and one of the world’s richest people, have decided to separate from each other. After living together for 27 years, both of them have decided to get their divorce.

Both have issued a statement saying that in the coming time we can no longer walk together. Bill Gates wrote on Twitter, After long conversations and working on our relationship, we have decided to end our marriage.

He has written,

After much deliberation and working on our relationship, we have decided to end our marriage. In the last 27 years, we have raised three best children and formed a wonderful organization that helps people around the world to live healthier and better lives.

Please tell that Bill and Melinda were married in the year 1994. Melinda and Bill run the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a well-known social organization. Which was launched in the year 2000.

It is further written in the shared statement,

We will keep our faith in this mission and will continue to work for this foundation even further. But we feel that as a couple we cannot move forward together in the next stage of our life.

He further said, “As we are exploring the path of our new life, we want the privacy of our family and ours to be respected.”

Bill Gates founded the computer software company Microsoft in the 1970s. Then in the year 1987, Melinda started a job at Microsoft Company as a product manager. Once both of them went to a business dinner in New York, after which the closeness between the two grew. Then, after dating each other for many years, in 1994, both of them got married in Lanai, an island in Hawaii.
