Artificial Intelligence can also listen to what you do not want to hear.

Washington, The New York Times. The revolutionary changes that have taken place in the world of technology from Artificial Intelligence (AI) are not untouched.

AI has now entered the homes of people after playing Danka in medical, transport and other fields. The most common examples of this are your digital assistant Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri. Alexa is produced by Amazon.

Google Assistant is a Google product and Siri is developed by Apple.

These assistants change the TV channel at your behest, play your favorite song and even call someone if needed. To a large extent, they have made your life easier. For many people, these assistants are like friends. One thing we all know while using these assistants is that they make your voice heard and also understand. Based on this, they follow your instructions.

Can hear confidential things
Now a big question is that when you are not giving any command to them, what do these assistants do at that time?

These are completely digital systems, so obviously they do not sleep. Their attention also never deviates. These features simply mean that these assistants listen to you even when you are not giving them commands.

They also listen to what you are doing with your intimate partner. It may be that they have also heard something confidential about a business deal.

The danger of misuse
is not just from hearing them, the danger is that one should not misuse their listened words.

Many reports have claimed that Amazon, Google, and Apple use people’s recordings to make their digital assistants more and more efficient.

In these companies, hundreds of people sit and listen to your recording and update the software based on it. During this, they can also hear what you may not have thought.

Several cases have surfaced in the United
States. Amazon faced trial in the case of Alexa recording the voice of children without knowledge.

At the same time, Alexa’s recording in a murder case was submitted as evidence. A case also came to light when the digital assistant recorded the husband and wife and sent them to a friend.

Some important steps to avoid:
Companies have given some options for users to control digital assistants. Amazon has given users the option of whether they want to use their recording to improve Alexa’s software.

Similarly, there is an option to delete the old recording. Google has also given the option to disable Google Assistant, control data sharing and delete the recording.

Similarly, in the case of Apple, Siri can be disabled directly by going to iPhone settings. By doing this all the recording is also deleted.
